Genie Adagio made her debut on the New York City Burlesque scene in 2012, and soon became known for her subtle but fiery stage presence and highly musical choreography. Genie soon earned the tagline “Classic Burlesque’s Quiet Storm.” Having recently stepped into the role of choreographer, one of her pieces was featured last December at the Brooklyn Museum, and has co-choreographed and will perform in a piece with Brown Girls Burlesque that will be featured in Macao, China.
